About me

I help postdoctoral researchers and early career academics strengthen their research articles and bring unfinished drafts to submission.

Through a combination of developmental editing and writing coaching, I work with researchers to clarify the core argument of their paper, strengthen the structure of the manuscript, and develop a realistic path toward submission.

My approach focuses on refining the central claim, ensuring that the structure supports the argument, and helping authors communicate their research clearly and persuasively to journal reviewers.

I aim to provide the kind of thoughtful editorial partnership that many researchers lack once they move beyond the PhD and no longer have regular supervisory feedback.

Although my own background is in social science and language education, I have worked with scholars from fields as diverse as fine arts and ecology. I have a Doctor of Social Science degree, a Master of Education degree, and a Diploma in Proofreading & Editing. I have authored peer‑reviewed academic articles and co‑authored an English‑language coursebook.
